How to use pre-paid cards for Skype bought at Wal-Mart
Purchase a prepaid card at Wal-Mart
Prepaid cards can be purchased in just about every Wal-Mart store nationwide. Pick up a card in-store and take it to the cashier to be activated. To buy and activate the card, you can use any payment method accepted by Wal-Mart, including cash, credit card and personal check.
You can buy Skype Credit for $10.00 or $20.00. Use Skype Credit to make calls to landlines and cell phones around the world at low, per-minute rates. The credit is deducted as you make the calls. See rates.
Redeem your card
After you purchase your pre-paid card, redeem it on the Skype website.
Enter the required details
Enter your Skype Name, password and 19 digit PIN (The PIN begins with 633 and is located on the back of the pre-paid card). Press Redeem voucher or prepaid card and then enter the value of the card you’ve just purchased (for example 10.00). Then press Redeem voucher or prepaid card again. Your account will then be updated accordingly.
