Introduce friends and easily start conference calls and group IMs.

Setting up categories

You may want to put all your family contacts into a category called Family or all your friends who follow football together in a Footy group so you can talk about the weekend games. Plus, it’s really simple to start a group IM, a call or even send a photo or file to everyone by right clicking on the group name and selecting how you would like to get in touch.

Sharing categories

Note: this feature is not available in the latest version of Skype for Windows.

You can also share groups with your friends, family or co-workers. When you share a category, an invitation is sent to all the members. As each person in the category accepts the invitation, their contact details are added to everyone's contact list meaning they have even more people to talk to.
